Sorevi ("Sorevi", "we", "our", or "us") is a confidence-training app that helps users practice social situations, complete challenges, track progress, and use optional AI-assisted coaching and voice practice.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Sorevi processes, why it is processed, which service providers may receive it, and what choices users have.
When you create an account, Sorevi processes your email address, authentication information, account identifier, and session information. Authentication is provided through Supabase.
Sorevi may store information needed to provide the service, including goals and onboarding selections, challenge participation and completion, expected and actual challenge difficulty, practice-session information, XP, achievements, streaks, progress, journey enrollment and lesson completion, daily-plan information, notification preferences and timezone, and subscription entitlement information.
When you use AI coaching, roleplay, challenge-ladder generation, or feedback features, the text needed to generate a response is sent through Sorevi's backend to OpenAI.
Sorevi's product analytics are designed not to include the raw content of coach or roleplay messages.
Voice practice is optional. If you choose to use it, Sorevi requests microphone permission, sends the audio recording to Sorevi's backend and then to OpenAI for transcription, and may use the resulting transcript as part of the practice or AI-feedback feature.
Sorevi records usage information about the voice feature, such as that a voice turn was used and the recording duration. The app code does not intentionally store the raw audio recording in Sorevi's database as part of normal voice-practice processing.
Sorevi records product-usage events to understand how features are used and to operate the service. These events may include the event type, user identifier, timestamps, selected experiment variant, practice or challenge identifiers, and similar feature-use information.
Sorevi is designed to avoid placing raw coach text, roleplay text, journal-style text, email addresses, or other user-entered message content into analytics events.
If you enable reminders, Sorevi may process notification preferences, reminder time, timezone, device platform, and an Expo push notification token. You can disable reminders in the app or change notification permission in your device settings.
Premium subscriptions are handled through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and RevenueCat. Sorevi may receive and store subscription status, entitlement information, expiration information, and an app-specific user identifier. Sorevi does not receive your full payment-card details.
Supabase provides authentication, database, backend functions, and related infrastructure for Sorevi.
OpenAI processes content sent to AI features, including coach and roleplay requests, generated-feedback requests, and audio submitted for transcription.
RevenueCat helps manage Premium subscription status and purchase entitlements.
Expo services may be used to provide push-notification functionality, including processing push tokens and notification delivery data.
Google or Apple processes purchases made through their respective app stores according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, the legal basis depends on the processing activity. We generally rely on performance of a contract where processing is necessary to provide the service, consent for optional permissions or functionality where consent is required, legitimate interests to secure, maintain, measure, and improve the service, and legal obligations where required by law.
We keep account and service data for as long as your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide Sorevi, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Different providers may apply their own retention periods to information they process.
When you delete your Sorevi account using the in-app deletion feature, Sorevi requests deletion of the account and associated application data handled by Sorevi, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.
Sorevi includes controls in Settings that allow signed-in users to export their Sorevi data and delete their Sorevi account.
Deleting your Sorevi account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Store subscriptions should be managed through the relevant app-store account settings.
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Some service providers used by Sorevi may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.
Sorevi is not intended for children below the minimum age at which they may independently consent to the processing of their personal data under applicable law. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children who are not permitted to use the service.
Sorevi is a confidence-training and practice tool. It is not emergency care and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
Information users enter into the app may relate to personal experiences or wellbeing. Users should avoid entering information they do not want processed by the service or its relevant service providers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, receive a portable copy of data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also use the in-app export and account-deletion controls where available.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Sorevi or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
